Dryer vent and AC duct cleaning in St. Petersburg, FL

In a house built before 1960, the dryer and its vent may have arrived decades after the house did, so the vent does not always take the obvious path. It can run through a wall, under the floor or across the attic. We trace it from the dryer to its outside end before we clean, and we look closely at that outside end, where an old cover can be cracked, painted shut or missing its flap. In the large apartment and condo buildings, a vent may travel far inside the building before it reaches the outside, and that work is planned with the manager. For AC ducts, a system in an older house may have been extended or patched along the way. An inspection tells us whether a cleaning is enough.
