How a duct replacement goes
The job has three stages, and you see the findings before anything is removed.
Full inspection
We check every run for rust, mold, leaks, tears and crushed sections, and show you what has failed.
Removal
The failing ductwork is taken out. Sound runs stay in place and can be cleaned instead.
New ductwork
New ducts are installed and sealed properly, then the airflow is checked across the system.

What are the signs that ducts need replacing?
Ductwork over 15 to 20 years old, visible rust or corrosion, mold or mildew, pests in the ducts, rooms that heat and cool unevenly, and repair bills that keep coming back.
Can my ducts just be cleaned instead?
If they are sound, yes, and that is what we will recommend. Cleaning cannot fix rust, tears, leaks or crushed runs, and the inspection shows which case yours is. See air duct cleaning.
How long does a replacement take?
Usually 1 to 2 days, depending on the size of the system and how much of it is being replaced.
Do I need to leave the house?
No. You can stay home while we work.
What will new ducts change?
You get better airflow and more even comfort, fewer allergens and less dust, and an AC that does not have to work as hard. Sealed ducts also stop losing cooled air into the attic.
